  • You go to the dr and get them screened. They send a form home with u to fill out, one to the school and usually one to a third party (aunt, uncle,therapist) and they screen them.

  • there are alot of factors before labeling a child adhd.The screening process involves a home assessment and a school asses. by a professional.Or your child may be going thru a phase,situations in his life, just a boofger lol lots of things to consider, no simple answers for that one.

  • they do a home assessment, they do a school assessment, and the doc/physc will have a few sessions with him before diagnosing anything
    they will also do some blood work and other tests to make sure its not something biological (shows up in blood work) cause alot of stuff has the same symptoms as adhd, but needs different treatment options
