How long before you got your period after birth?

It has been 7 weeks now since I had the baby and I still haven't gotten my period. I had a c-section if that helps. Is this normal? If so, what isn't normal?

  • With Abbie, my 3rd c-section, it was like 3 months before I had one. I was also breastfeeding.

  • i had a c-section too but i don't know if that had anything to do with it. it was pretty much after i stopped breastfeeding which was about 3 months.

  • I didn't get mine until about 1 yr after I delivered, but I breast fed.

  • it was about 3 to 4 months and i didn't breastfeed. i would think you should have gotten it by now but, then again, i'm not a doctor so i don't really now. lol.
