My friend is Japanese but has Americanized her own name so she likes american sounding names(I know some people on here on nitpicky when I say american names so for all of you just plug in names that are common or appeal to the general american populace). But she is also interested in honoring her Mother's family which are Japanese Hawaiian's who like to use Hawaiian type names.
So hard request but I'm looking for something Hawaiian possibly Japanese that will be easy for American's to say/pronounce and sounds good with the last names either Maeda or Maeda-Waters?

I have the first edition and it has TONS of Hawaiian, American and Japanese names, as well as Ancient Greek (think the myths), Hebrew, Irish, Scottish, Welsh and names from ALL over the world.

Do you say these things in real life to other moms?
