  • If you file now, then they cannot repo the car. They tried to repo our car several times, even while my husband had it at work...all he had to do was show them the filing paperwork. Once though he had to call the cops because they had our car up on the truck about to take off. Technically they were stealing our car. So...hurry up and file your bankruptcy.

  • Oh and they can come and repo at any point after you miss even one payment. I'd be careful and keep your car out of sight as much as possible.

  • When do do file it's in quick too. So don't wait, if you do wait they have every right to take it.

  • DON'T hide it. That for one is ILLEGAL and it will not go your way after trying to file bankruptcy.

  • They can come and get it anytime. Since your letting them take the car, why don't you just hand it back to the dealership??

  • Call them and tell them to come get it. Why try to hang on to something you have no business having. You can't pay for it.
