If Obama is so opposed to pork-barrel spending, why did he, as a senator, support adding $180 billion in pork to the $700 billion bailout bill?
Who thinks he will **change** and veto anything with pork? If he doesn't, does this make him just another politician?

I voted for him and have always thought he was just another politician. One has to compromise a lot to get to his position.
We just have to wait and see.

fiveofakind2........there is NO WAY Obama will succeed with not only his campaign rhetoric and snake tongue lies, nor by his political record, but simply by what he is presently proposing!! NO WAY! What he has done, said and is doing is NOT a successful outcome! As for the OP, Obama is NOT change, if you listened to his words and looked at his record they not only contradicted, they were polar opposites! He is doing exactly as his record shows, NOT what he said he'd do! He was and is full of bs! He'll pork belly spend us and bailout us into a depression! Welcome to the change Obama was really wanting.....from Capitalism to Socialism!
