  • Does she have antibiotics for the infection?? Then tell her to take them right and tell her to take some ibuprofen to bring her fever down. Also tell her to drink plenty of fluids. At this age she should already know all that any ways.

  • Tylenol or Ibuprofen will help with the fever and the pain, but you need antibiotics to help clear the infection. Tell her to see a doctor.

  • Nothing. The fever is fighting the infection. Is she a typical 18 year old? Meaning no special needs? If so, let her be. There's not much you can do for as sinus infection except let it run it's ours. Mst sinus infections are viral, and anti biotocs are useless against viral. The bet thing that you can do is a lot of nasal saline rinses. Also, steamy hot shower.

  • Tell her to drink some water and take some Tylenol. Then tell her to get a job...

Jk. But seriously, she is old enough to take care of herself. If she has made it to 18 years old and has never had a temp over 100.8 she is probably the healthiest person ever.

  • Lots of peppermint tea (a natural decongestant); regular old asprin, if she is uncomfortable; make a syrup with honey (antibacterial) and cayenne pepper (anti-inflammatory) if she has a cough or sore throat.

Having more than 1,000 life time doses of acetominophen (tylenol) increase your risk of kidney disease several times over; similar guidelines are coming for ibuprofen

  • Since you say she has a sinus infection I am assuming she has been to the octor. Take the meds he prescribed and call the doctor. 100.8 is nothing to worry about. You can also call a pharmasist and tell them what se is taking and ask which painreleiver to take. Some do not react well with other meds.
