Any advice, websites, or cost saving tips on planning a trip to Disney World??

We are planning our first trip to Disney World in February but have no idea where to start. Any certain things to do, places to go, where to stay, what not to do, etc you may know would be helpful! It will be DH, myself, DS (6), and DS (3). We will probably only be in Orlando for 3 days and are trying to decide how many days we should get tickets for? Any advice would be greatly appreciated:)

  • I would get a 3 day ticket. One day at Magic kingdom, one day at Animal Kingdom, then 1 day to do either hollywood studios, epcott, back to magic kingdom, whatever... Have fun!!

  • Go to
It is an awesome site that gives you tons of info on Disney. Also sign up for the newsletter. It will give you special codes to use for huge discounts when booking a hotel. My main suggestion would be to take a break for a day from the parks and hang out at the pool. Going to the parks for 3-4 days in a row is hard on the little ones, so a good kids hotel with some activities is a nice break for them and you! Try not to cram too much into the trip. How long are you going for>

  • Bring a stroller instead of renting one per day, learn all you can to create convenience at: and plan away.
