Ron Paul Closing posts

How do you feel about the idea of shutting down posts? I think its a good idea, but I worry about down sizing and job loss? However, I am still educating myself on the idea.

  • It hurts the areas....not everyone who works on post/base is military,lots of civilians lose there jobs too and that impacts other jobs too. such as food industry,shops,grocers,etc
    Some areas become ghost towns very quickly!

  • I need to read more on that. but sometimes they shut down one post and move the families to another. Some bases are expanding so they might not be cutting jobs just making it more manageable. I will have to read up on what is going on in that area..
