  • Neither. I prefer to be discrete, and nothing screams "HEY I'VE GOT A BOOB OUT OVER HERE!!" like covering with a blanket. I learned to do it well without revealing anything.

Oh and for the "I'm too big, I can't do that," crowd, I wear a 40 J cup ... with practice you can too.

  • If I'm at home I let it all hang out, unless we have guests. If I'm shopping I use a blanket or try and find a dressing room. It's just what you are comfortable with.

  • It was winter....I covered because I was cold.

  • I could never nurse under a blanket. I could, however, lift my shirt from the bottom and slip baby under. It gets easier with practice!

  • Cover for company, just family let it hang out. For this baby I bought a sling, so we'll see how much it exposes and from there decide if I need a blanket or not for public.

  • those aren't the only two options.
i didn't use a blanket to cover my daughter's head and i haven't used one to cover my son's, either.
i do, however, dress in layers so that while i'm nursing i'm pretty well covered.

  • Neither. I wear a nursing cami and a loose fitting shirt. You can't see a thing but I certainly don't cover myself anymore than I have to.

  • I'm with Pauline3283 on this. I never cover my baby, but I wear a nursing tank and another shirt so I am comfortable not showing my stomach.
