Love It or Leave It on HGTV

Have you noticed that they always end up digging up the basement because of bad water pipes on this show? I've seen this 3 times. (Didn't sit through the 3rd one.) and Each time the re-decorator found bad pipes in the basement floor that might result in sewage backing up into the home and started digging up things before she even discussed it with the homeowners and of course that blew the budget on the reno! Don't let this woman into you house!

Is the show financed by a real estate company trying to get people to sell rather than fix it and stay? Is this backlash to all the house flipping shows? Are they in a part of the country where the pumping codes were recently upgraded? What? Did you think we wouldn't notice your formula. Stop It already!

  • In this area, basements are all 8 foot. I can't imagine building anything shorter in the first place!
