We want to plant a tree in our back yard-possibly a bradford pear. When is the best time to do this? How is it done?

  • I'm not sure, but I would think your local nursery or garden center would be a great resource. Happy planting.

  • Before planting a bradford pear tree think about your climate. They are very brittle and in a strong wind can crack and blow over. Our neighbor had one and it wound up in our driveway in a wind storm.
