At what age do babies hear noises outside the womb?

I'm pregnant again (14 wks), my son is 2 and a half, and for the life of me I don't remember what age the baby can start hearing noises outside the womb. I have lots of developments week by week updates, but haven't seen anything on hearing yet, so I'm assuming it's not this soon. But can anyone tell me when to expect this milestone?

  • I just had my updates and it said at 27 weeks they cannow hear.... I'm 29 now but I think that would seem accurate. At 14 weeks they are still developing
