microwave sanitation?

how do i sanitize bottles and binkis in the microwave?

  • I just wash them with hot soapy water...

  • Hot water/ dish soap. If you use the micro it will slowly melt the binki from the inside and the baby may get some of it in the mouth before you even know it.

  • You don't.
    If the package said it was safe, boil them in hot water on the stove for 5 minutes. Don't have the package? Just stop at the store and read one there.

  • Yep...boiling water for the first time and wash in hot soapy water after that....in general. Some do have other specific directions, but those were the ones we found for what we bought....
