Potty Training My 2 year old daughter.

Im currentley attempting to potty train my daughter shes 2, she does sgood somedays but shell never tell me when she has to go and shell just go in her 'big girl underwear' i had to put her in underwear cuz she wouldnt even attempt with pullups on, i know she can do it. How do i i get her to be more xcited about learning and how can i get her to tell me when she has to go. HELP!

  • Telling you that she needs to go is a very advanced skill. She's obviously not ready for that step yet. For now, just keep taking her on a set schedule. Remember, while using the bathroom seems simple to us, there are LOTS of steps.
    (1) Realizing you have to go.
    (2) Being willing to stop playing to go.
    (3) Getting help if you need it.
    (4) Getting there in time
    (5) Working the clothes
    etc, etc, etc.

    It's a big, complex task that you are asking her to do. It can take several years before a child can do it all by themselves. You are at the very beginning of this journey. Don't get frustrated that she's not skipping to the last few steps at this point.
