  • Gestational diabetes is caused by each individual placenta...therefore you are more at risk for having it again, but it is not a certainty. After your first diagnosis, you are at risk for developing Type 2 within 10 years.

  • my mom had it with me and my sister but i didnt have it with my daughter and with this baby either but my mom is also rh- so that increased her chances
