my 2 (& 4 month) year old will not drink milk (not even chocolate, strawberry, etc.) - any suggestions or alternative, kid-friendly sources of calcium?

  • its okay if they dont drink milk as long as they are getting calcium from another source.
    cheddar cheese, american cheese, ice cream (soft served) yogurt, calcium-fortified orange juice, and cottage cheese are all very good sources for calcium. :)

  • My 19month old would not drink milk for anything she would not eat ice cream,pudding anything that had a milky base taste so I tried different types of milk products and found that she likes silk soy milk I fine with that because it is better for her and organic too.

  • My daughter doesn't like milk either, but I am sure to give her cheese and yogurt every day.

  • cheese sticks! they are fun! the string cheese. flinstone vitamins. mac n cheese. pudding! soy is a great idea times3mom!

    if your looking to 'hide' the calcium and your LO likes fruit, then make fruit smoothies using your LO's fav. fruits. and if you dont mind the added calories try cherry cheesecake pie. WOW! tastey!
