what were your first finger foods

My son and starting to refuse baby food, he wants to feed himself. What were some of the first finger you fed your baby?

  • cheerios and those gerber graduates finger puffs, bananas, crackers that are made for babies

  • gerber puffs, pieces of bread (the insides of french bread etc), bananas, baby crackers ( loved the veggie ones from gerber), avacado, strawberry, any soft fruit really.

  • Chunks of sweet potato, banana, toast...most anything I could steam and cut into chuncks that he'd had before.

  • Bits of food from what we were eating. The biter biscuits were the first thing she ever ate on her own. Chopped up fruits. She doesn't like cheerios. Anything really. Just make it small =]
