  • My kids have made great things at daycare. Once they made hearts out of 2 thumb prints. You could pre-fild white paper and have them do that on the front, then decorate with sparkles, etc.

My dd made one of these but for Christmas. They took photos of each of the kids and printed them out and made the frame. It is still on my fridge. She is in 1st grade.

  • Get a few packs of red, purple and pink tissue paper. Michaels sells packs of cheap white cards and envelopes. Before the party, tear the tissue sheets in strips and crumple each strip into a ball. Draw 1 big heart on the front of the white cards....or have the kids do that. Distribute all the tissue paper crumples between them, about 14 crumpled up pieces per card. (Make one at home as the demo. and then you know how many crumples you need.) I just throw a bunch of the tissue paper crumples on each table and let them pick the colors and ones they want. They glue them onto the heart any color or pattern they want. You will get some really creative patterns if you just let them pick) Then on the inside you have them write...I love you mom because.....(they fill in the blank.) Happy Valentine's day!

-Fun, quite easy and moms love them : )

You can get $1 wooden photo frames from Michaels and decorate with foam stickers.

  • Here's a good starting point. There's a garland to make, heart necklaces (from recycled toilet rolls :) ) and paper plate heart dudes ...
