  • No, around where i live, you never see one. I have only seen one in person in my whole live and he was freakin huge to the other dogs around him. Apparently , they are pretty calm and gentle though. They just aren't popular around my area. Are u thinking of getting one?

  • Yes! We have 4 at our house right now. 2- 8 month olds, a 1 1/2 year old we just adopted and a 2 year old rescue Saint that we are fostering. 4 kids, too. :o) It's usually total chaos around here. They sure are wonderful though.

  • not thinking about it.......I own one!   He is 14 weeks and I think he could give Marley a run for his money!  LOL!!  And yes they are gentle giants!!  VERY LOVEABLE!!  He already weighs 55 lbs, so yes he will be huge! He is the 4th one I've owned.

  • Don't have a St. Bernard but I do have an English Mastiff..... weighing in at a tiny 197lbs..... holy slobber! And you can bet that DH gets tagged in his privates by that swinging tail at least once a week. Ain't big dogs fun.

  • I don't have one any more. I had a female several years ago and when I was growing up we used to have a couple of them. They are GREAT dogs!
