What is a Muslim?

Are they a christians? What do they believe in.

  • they are not christians. they are muslims. meaning they are human beings that follow the believs of the islam. they believe in god just like christians but their prophet is mohammed. hope that gives an idea

  • Muslim is a follower of Allah(God)
    They are monotheistic just like Christians and Jews(All 3 are Abrahamic Religions)
    Muslim is a person who submits to the will of Allah(God)
    Muslims represent many races and socioeconomic settings
    They have 5 main ideas they live by:
    1. The Shahada (To Witness)
    2. The Salat (Prayer)
    3. The Zakat (Giving Alms)
    4. The Sawm or Siyam (Fasting)
    5. The Hajj (Pilgrimage)
    They also believe in:
    1. God and His Attributes
    2. Prophets
    3. Angels
    4. Sacred Books
    5. The Judgement Day
    6. Predestination
    This is just some basic things about Islam. Islam is the religion, and a Muslim is a follower of Islam.

  • They believe Christ was not the Messiah, but a prophet, and they follow Mohammed, who they believe was the last of the Great Prophets. he lived after Christ. Their holy book is called the Koran.
