Found a spoon with what appears to be small, waxy, green substance..how do i get it identified?

If it was found in your childs room, then go to the drug strore & buy an over the counter drug test kit & make them take it.

Does it smell? Where did you find it,, my best guess if your worried it is drugs, I would take the spoon to the police, and explain that you would want to have it tested,, I am not sure if they will or not, but I know they have tests that they can do onsite to tell if it is drugs,, I would probalby start with asking my kid what it is, and have a drug test for them to take,, if it is nothing, then they should be willing to take the test, you can buy one for about $40 at the drugstore, just be sure to get one that covers everything.

PS--if the spoon was used to heat drugs, it would be discolored on the bottom,, hopefully it is just something groos (old yogurt or something)

you can go to online pdr they maybe able to help i have used it for identifying pills they have a identifier page.
