  • Start using a sippy. We are off the bottle at 6 months. i wouldn't use juice unless your lo is constipated. It will give them a taste for sweet stuff and may contribute to a bad habit in the future. Good luck.

  • He doesn't need juice, and you can start a sippy at any point...water, breastmilk, formual, whatever...

Give it a start..and when he can drink from it (drink anything from it) get rid of the bottles. We were done with bottles at 6 months as well...

  • He can start drinking juice, just dilute it with water first. For a while, because it might give him diarrhea

  • My daughter is almost 9 months & she has been having 1/2 juice 1/2 water in a sippy cup since she was about 5 months old at the latest. her doc said not to give all juice because once they have the sweet they will only want that.

  • We give our son 1/2 juice 1/2 water and at first he didn't even like it. we had to start off with really small amounts because he wonouldn't drink it! but now he likes his little sippy of juice in the am with his snack
