What happens when a butterfly flaps its wings?

I can't remember the phrase exactly something about a butterfly flapping its wings making ripples in a pond that cause something big to happen somewhere else. I always hear people say "Well you know what they say about when a butterfly flaps its wings." I always say "Now what do they say" and no one can ever tell me.

  • hmmm never heard the expression but my DD used to talk about butterflies flapping their wings all the time. Not sure where she learned some of that material but it was fun listening to her.
