Just asking but what age is the best age to start your baby eating table food?

  • There is no best age. I started my daughter on regular foods before she was a year. I limited what I gave her based on her ability to chew and based on the list of foods to avoid. By 18 months, I'd offer her just about anything we ate.

  • Money was pretty tight when we had our 5th child, (1978) when he was about 8 mo. old everything we ate he ate, I never bought baby food for him. I Cooked with very little salt and very low fat , blended everything in the blender until it was pureed. but to answer your ? about 8 or 9 mo. but mash it well.
