How many times did they have to get them? how long did they stay in?

  • My son has had tubes 3 times. He still has his 3rd pair in that he got in May. This is the longest they have stayed in. He is 3 years old.

  • My son had them. I think they were in about a year. The surgeon had to pull them out, but he did that in his office, and he said usually they fall out. He didn't need more.

  • My oldest had tubes put in when she was about 20 months old. She was 3 before they both came out on their own. She hasn't had ear problems since.

  • My son was 9 mos when he got tubes, they said they would most likely have to be replaced.
