breast feeding.

i breast feed but i pump the milk out into a bottle. how long after i take it out of the fridge does it go bad. and once i use it out of the fridge can i put it back in the fridge and use it again later?

  • It takes an hour for BM to go bad and yea you can put it back in as long as it doesn't smell sour or has been left out long.

  • not really. u shouldnt put it back once the baby has drank from the bottle. it encourages bacterial growth even in the refrig. i would b okay with leaving it out to feed the baby for an hour or a bit more, but if he doesnt drink it all at that feeding, throw out the rest and start with a fresh bottle. the younger the baby the more important this is. nust put in the bttle what u expect the baby to drink at that feeding. then u wont waste so much. does pumping hurt? i never had much luck with it.
