  • Breast milk is safe at room temperature from 4-6 hours. It is safe in the refrigerator for 72 hours. It is safe in the freezer for 3 mo. (or a deep freezer for 6 mo.). No, you cannot take milk out of the refrigerator and then put it back in and use it later. You shouldn't take out more than you think your baby will drink to avoid wasting it.

    Hope that helps.

  • From what I've read in many different sources it all says:

room temp- up to 8 hours.
    Refridgerator- up to 8 days
    Freezer- up to 3 months.

and If you take a bottle out of the fridge and warm it it's good for 1 hour.
