My children are covered under the Texas CHIPS insurance.
BUT my oldest will be going to college out of state in Aug.
What are some options for health insurance for her?
I don't want to send her out of state or off to college without some sort of medical insurance.
Any suggestions?
She's already been accepted into this college and we're working on financial aide. Taking a trip there in March to check out the school. BUT I'm trying to think ahead and get stuff done.
Thanks

At the University of CA (public system with multiple campuses) , all students must have proof of insurance or they are automatically placed on the UC health system.
