My children have to have a computer for school. My oldest son needed one so much for his assignments that we went ahead and got him his own laptop. He has a lot of research he has to do, papers to write, PowerPoint presentations and a couple of his teachers have blogs for their classes that the students can get extra credit assignments from. For the past three years a memory stick has been a required school supply so he could take assignments from home and do them on his school computer.
