  • no it wont hurt your baby unless its the flu and then you have to be admitted and them give you meds and usually it doesnt hurt the baby only back in the day did you really have to worry about being sick

  • sounds like a cold, but if it progresses to a fever and/or painful sinuses, or if it continues for more than 3 days, I'd call the doctor to make sure you don't have a sinus infection. It won't hurt your baby. However, pregnancy affects your body in many ways. One of the lesser known "side effects" is swollen mucous membranes which could give you a perpetually stuffy nose (as if you're not going through enough already, huh?). Even when your cold is gone you might still have to breathe through your mouth for a few more months. Hope you feel better soon!

  • Sounds like the signs & symptoms of a sinus infection. Go or call your OB/GYN's office & talk to a Nurse. They'll either have you come in or let you know what over the counter medicines you can take. Another suggestion is if your OB/GYN's office can't fit you in go see your Family Physician.

If you sit in the bathroom with the door shut & turn on the shower, a lot of the time the steam will help break up all the mucus you have in your throat.
