Need ideas for home made scategories game?

Name, place, animal, thing, movie/show/cartoon
Need 2+ players, paper and pens (separate for each player to write)
One person is randomly picked (different every time so everyone gets a turn). Another person says start and the first person starts reciting alphabets under his breath, fast. The second person says stop and the first person has to say aloud the last alphabet he was on when he was stopped. Now everyone has to write a name,place (country or city), animal, thing and a movie(can be a show or a cartoon too) all starting with that alphabet.
Whoever is done with all the slots counts loudly and quickly till 50(giving others a countdown to finish). When he is done everyone has to stop. Then they tally with each other.Players who have matching names/items get 5 points each. If not matching then they get a 10.Total comes up to 50 (if not same as another player)
