a cultural question

does anyone know what the people of cape verde are like???just meet someone and looked it up on the doesnt say much.she doesnt look african american nor does she look like she came from the islands.the computer says portugese(sp)my sil is portugese and well she doesnt really fit in there about personality???she kind of exotic...looking and acting.i am not prejudice just curious....

  • Most people who live in Cape Verde are Creole. They still consider themselves Africans. Not all Africans are dark-skinned. There are many white Africans (my best friend is one) and people that are all skin colors. They speak Portuguese, but they aren't considered Portuguese.
