2 month old has green poop

He is fed more formula than breast-milk, he has had green poop for the last week or so, he goes maybe every other day. What do I do?

  • Poop comes in all colors...just wait! It is not a problem, if it continues more than a week or so you may want to call the pediatrician just as a precaution!

  • my daughter is like a skittles rainbow you never know what you are going to find when you open up that diaper wait til he starts eating solid foods.

  • typically green poop in a baby that is exclusively breastfed can indicate that baby isn't receiving enough hindmilk.
    i don't know what kind of role the formula will play in effecting the color.
