1 Bump

38 weeks pregnant, eye floaters

i'm 38 weeks pregnant with baby #3. For the past couple of days i have been seeing floaters infront of my eyes. I dont have GD and everything else is pretty normal. I have severe pre-e with my 1st and remember seeing floaters then. I have been checking my bp here at home and it is pretty normal although once in awhile the bottom number is over 80. I have been drinking water non stop so i shouldnt been dehydrated. I'm thinking of calling my ob tomorrow to let them know also have been having a little pain when i go pee. Until tomorrow has anyone else had this problem with floaters?

  • Do these floaters move across your vision when you move your head?
If so,these are normal. it's just cells left over inside your eyes from when you were a fetus

  • I had floaters with both my kids. They would come and go. I would be standing in the shower or sitting on the couch and I would get these little white floaters that would last for a few minutes, go away and come back. I didnt have high blood pressure at all with either pregnancy and no complications. So I have no idea what they were from. I would definitely tell the doc though and see what they say. Oh and blood pressure isnt considered high until it is 140/90 or higher or if either number is that higher or higher. I had post partum pre eclampsia after my son was born which is very rare. But like I said just talk to the doc and let them know and keep an eye on your blood pressure for the time being.
