Do you know who's footing the bill for Obama's inauguration?

So, do you? I'll give you a hint, it's not the tax payers.

  • Wrong soniam301, the inauguration is paid for completely by private donors. Meaning people with lots of money decided to give it to Obama for his inauguration. As we already found out, FEMA is NOT paying for the inauguration, and neither are tax payers.

Unfortunately, I am not going to the inauguration, though I think it would be fun.

  • Actually, the security is being handled entirely by the Secret Service. They're getting paid to do it anyway, so I don't see what the big deal is. Are you just looking for a reason to complain because now your biggest sore spot with the inauguration turned out to be a bust?
