can any one help my 8yr with a hmw question? math ?

I dont even know where to start math was my worst subject in school??
here is the question

Kevin and Gary have the same number of freckles as Catlin and Mary.
Complete the sequence and show its fact.
105+7=83=?


I am totaly stumped any help would be greatly apriciated??

  • Oops 105+7=83+29
    I think that would be right because I think what it is saying is one boy has 105 freckles and the other has 7, that total equals the total number of freckles that the girls have. So if one girl has 83 freckles, the other must have 29. Make sense? So 105+7=112 and 83+29=112
