does the fact that...

Does the fact that one had a c section mean they had sex sooner after delivering, as opposed to someone that had a vaginal birth?

I had 2 vaginal births, episiotomy and all, and waited at least the 6 weeks, if not more.

  • I have never had a c-section, but I imagine recovery would be much tougher. So IMO a c-section delivery would probably wait longer to have sex again!
I think I answered this question right.

  • Makes no scientific sense whatsoever.

  • I had a c-section and a v-bac. lol - let me tell you, I came out of both of them hurting, stitched up, and feeling like I had been run over by a mac truck. The biggest difference was whether it hurt 6 inches up or down my body, give or take a few inches...

Seriously though, either way, your body has just gone through something pretty major and it needs to heal, I would suggest to pretty much everyone that they wait.

  • Who would have sex after 7 hrs. ?they are so lying whether it was c-section or vaginal, your priority after giving birth is your baby, not getting layed.

  • I agree with you Gigi, but some people's priorities are all messed-up! It wouldn't surprise me if the person on this site that was bragging truly had sex 7 hours after delivery!
Some scary stuff around here lol.
