  • My sister graduated from a criminal justice program. She LOVED it, and is working on putting it to work for her. She's locked into a contract with her current employer, but when thats up, she's going to be a CSI. I think thats pretty exciting and I give her a lot of credit...I could never do it. But she's very passionate about it.

    Good luck to you!

  • My husband went through a criminal justice program through a local community college. He is one class away from his Associate's. He's failed that class 4 times. Different class each time, it's an English elective he needs. That's his problem though.

He LOVED the classes and was going to become a cop, until I pointed out to him that he reacts instead of anticipates.

  • Have you considered something in the Biopharmaceuticals field? I have an associate degree is Biopharmaceuticals technology and some of the graduates from that program work in our state's crime lab, testing evidence, DNA, etc. not sure what type of job you want, but it's a possibility.

  • It was a course of study offered at our community college - some of the ones around here have it, others have it classified under a different name, others don't have it. It's usually a 2 yr degree, I only went for a year because I had enough credits from my Bachelors. It's heavy on science (because you're working in a lab - microbiology, organic chemistry, etc.) but it wasn't difficult even though science was never really my thing.
