2 Bumps

OMG, it's about that time. We so need a vacation. Does anyone know of a cheap all-inclusive spot or decently priced?

We are planning our yearly vacation in probably April or May and we always go to All-Inclusive. Does anyone know if a nice resort but fairly priced?

We were thinking somewhere in Mexico, maybe or in the Caribbean. We would love to just spend $800 but I don't see that happening. We definitely don't want to go over $1500 though.

I would just be 2 adults.

  • What do you consider cheap? Many cruise lines are all-inclusive and can be as low as a couple hundred per person depending on where you go and for how long. But if you don't live near a cruise port you have to factor in driving and/or flight costs to get there.

  • With the cost of gas on the rise flying anywhere is going to kill your budget. How many people are involved, 2 adults and 2 kids? We've been to Puerta Plata, Dominican Republic and loved it. We've done the cruise right out of NYC so we drove our car and parked it in NYC for the week. My daughter was in Costa Rica this summer with camp and said it is the upcoming vacation hot spot.

  • I am not a fan of all inclusives; I like to go out and explore, eat local, go to local food markets, etc.

  • Airfare alone can cripple your budget so it depends on where you live. Cancun is giving stuff away right now so that may be an option for all inclusives. Otherwise, Our Lucaya on Freeport, Bahamas might fit the budget.
