Can I leave unfrosted cupcakes on the counter overnight?

I feel ditzy asking, lol....but I don't make cupcakes often. They don't have to be refridgerated, right? I don't want to be up all night frosting them, cause I'm making cupcake cakes, so it'll be alot of frosting. Thanks!! :)

  • Yes it's fine. They are now cooked. Just put them in a container or tin foil over them to prevent bugs and from going stale.

  • They'll be fine. Just lay a tea towel over them (something non-linty) and don't fret :)
It's winter, not much in the way of bugs around...and they won't go stale overnight.

  • Yes, and I'd cover them well, I just don't trust there to be no little crawlies around. Make sure they are completey cool becover covering them.
