  • The 7 year old had already lost several teeth. One of his front top baby teeth was loose for a long time and wouldn't come out. We could see the permanent tooth trying to come down; so I called the dentist and the next day took him in. The dentist pull it out.

  • My son was almost 7 when he lost his first tooth. He's now 8.5 and only lost about 8 teeth (one fell out last week so I need to count again). One of his teeth did what you're describing. The adult tooth was fully in, and the baby tooth in front of it wasn't even close to loose. It eventually fell out a couple weeks later. It didn't seem to bother him at all.

  • They say that the longer a child keeps their baby teeth, the better their adult teeth will be...I hope so, bc my dd hasn't lost one yet, she's 7yrs.

  • That happened to my youngest. We told him he had shark teeth. Right before he turned 7 he had 4 bby teeth pulled (his first teeth to lose) and 2 permanent teeth were already grown in. It's happening again. (5 years later- he's behind on losing his teeth)

This is true.  I started to lose my teeth when I was 9.  I have really healthy teeth and I am 38.  :)

    I wouldn't worry.
