Back to irregular anovulatory cycle ??

For the past 2 years my period has been irregular w/ server form of breast tenderness during my luteal phase but ever since I went on birth control my period was no longer irregular (very regular 31-33 days) ... Once I stopped my BCP my period still remained regular , which I would assume is a good thing right? Well OK, Now for the past 2 months I have no usual sore breast during my luteal phase period. I was told if you once had sore breast as an indicator of your period coming and u no longer have it, that's due to no ovulation. Does this mean I'm now having my periods with out ovulating at all anymore? I need some insights ladies, I suffered from irregular period ever since I first got my period at 14 and now I am now 20. It would really suck to go back to irregular cycles since my cycle been regular since August of 2011. *(additional information --I feel as if I'm ovulating every month now... mid cycle cramping.. a lot fertile cm.)

  • I have a lot of periods in a row where I get the breast tenderness, but every once in a while, and sometimes several months in a row I don't get tenderness. I'm pretty sure I still ovulate, I just have different symptoms. I really don't think it means you're not ovulating necessarily. Kinda like every pregnancy is different, even for the same woman, periods can be different for the same woman too.

  • The anovulatory cycle is a menstrual cycle characterized by varying degrees of menstrual intervals and the absence of ovulation and a luteal phase. In the absence of ovulation, there will be infertility.
