  • I'm a quilter and fiber artist, so I always have a project or 7 in the works.
Thank you for reminding me that I have another one I need to start - the dog lost his name tag again (manages to keep the rabies one though) so I am going to make him a cloth one and sew it onto his collar. He's a runner too, so he needs his name sewn into his doggy underwear.

  • It's not really a project. I had noticed the handle on our dishwasher wasn't working right, so I took the panel off, and found that it was cracked. I attempted to fix it, but I couldn't, so I called maytag, and had to buy and entirely new handle for it. I will be installing it myself in 3-5 business days,lol....

  • I'm a quilter too - fabric portraits. I'm about 1/2 done with my latest.

I'm finishing a sweater (knitted) for DD and a costume for DH (we're doing another Murder Mystery dinner party in a couple of weeks). Also, I'm doing an impressionistic portrait of a neighbor and her DD and GD. In my 'spare time', I'm writing a novel.

  • I'm going to be painting DD's bookshelf this weekend, I just need to pick out a good color to match the rest of her furniture. It's an old one I had that is stained pine, but it doesn't really go very well in her room and the wood isn't that pretty, so painting it won't be a heartache either.

I would like to learn how to knit, I just need to settle down enough to focus on it. I have a few things going on right now, so I don't have a whole lot of down time. Soon, though. I keep promising myself it will happen soon.

  • We have torn our living room down to the studs... I'm installing windows, drywalling, installing carpet, painting and installing trim.

I also draw pencil portraits so I have a few of those for friends on the go.

And I'm sewing bedding for our newest baby who is due in June.
