Well my dd is 5 now & she has had it memorized & the our phone # for about 4 months now.

when he was four I made sure he knew the street and city, my full name, his full name, and my phone number. I wanted him to know our house number too but sometimes he got it mixed up w/my phone number, so I focused on just that.

I work in an elementary school and it amazes me how many MUCH OLDER kids don't know their parents' phone numbers!!!

She knows the street and the state but don't always remember the number. We are working on the phone number now.

My daughter doesn't know our address, but she knows her full name, birthday and both of our names. I need to work on teaching her the address as well.
