The final play was a "Hail Mary" pass. Then the announcer said, "Unbelievable!! Just seven weeks ago the New York Giants were getting the Last Rites. But they resurrected and won the Super Bowl!!" I'm just sayin' . . .
I thought this was cute. I found it on a FB page of a priest who does relevant radio. His name is Father Rocky!

Hail Mary pass, was supposedly first used during a Notre Dame home game, by a local announcer. When you look at on of the end zones, there's Touchdown Jesus. It was in the last few seconds of the game. The Irish quarterback threw a huge lob toward this end zone. All of a sudden there was a receiver that came from no where. The announcer in the excitement said look at that play. I wonder if he said a Hail Mary as he threw it.
