My 1 year old will not drink cows milk!

He'll have it in his cereal, and he'll have spoons of cows milk from my cereal (he's always after what I'm eating!) But when I put it in his beaker (sippy cup) he will not drink it! I was even naughty and tried putting it in his bottle but he wont drink it, he wont have it cold or warm! He's 1 now, and he should be off formula by now! But he still has two lots of it a day because he wont drink cows milk :(

It's okay if he doesn't drink it. He just needs 3 dairy servings, they don't have to be milk. Yogurt, cottage cheese, cheese are all good substitutes. My oldest didn't start drinking milk until he was like 5. Now at 14 he can't get enough of it!

My oldest daughter wouldn't either.. but she loved yogurt, cheese, ice cream etc. :)

Thanks Ladies, he'll eat cheese if it's mixed in with something, like veg ect, but he wont eat it with toast! I'm very lucky thought because he does drink water through the day.

My older 2 children never drank milk after they weaned (mine were bf's.) They got their calcium from every other dairy product on the planet but wouldn't touch milk. They drank only water until they were 4-6. It should be fine as long as he will have it in some other way - cereal bowl, cheeses, yogurts.
