So since he turned 18 months I've been trying to get my DS of his pacifier. During the day he doesn't use it as much, but at night he has too. Also during the day, he's always chewing on something. He'll be 2 soon , and I don't want him still on it. He'll be good for a few days and then he'll spend the weekends with my mom and she always has some stashed because he cries at night and she complains ...ugh its frustrating...any tips to get him off completely???

my DD really needed hers a night... we went to just at night and NEVER during the day. Then on her 3rd b-day we had the Binky Fairy come to take them to all the babies that need them. She left all her binky's in a basket and when she woke up it was full of a few toys... a new stuffy to hug, etc. So at that point she went cold turkey at night and it worked out well. She was at an age that we could tell her why she had to give them up.
