I never knew 5 oz. weighed so much!

My son is making his first derby car for cub scouts. He wanted the car in a wedge shape, so we cut it, sanding it, painted it, added decorations, wheels, etc. We weighed it and it was only 2.5 oz! So we bought some weights and added it to the back and the underside of the car and now it is only 4 oz. We still need to add an ounce and have no idea where to put it at! Any tips on how to add weight? We have heard there is lead tape but I don't think it would be enough to add an ounce.

  • Wow. You wouldn't think that it would be that hard to make something weigh so little would you? I guess try to add more weights.
