1 Bump

WW points plus users, is this normal?

After 1 week on PP I have only dropped 2.6 pounds. I am very heavy, 5'5" and 240lbs. I was thinking I would see a bigger loss since I have not gone off program. Any tips welcome.

  • Yes. I was told a normal loss is 2.5 lbs. per week.

  • 2.6lbs is GREAT! in regards to weightloss. I don't know what WW says, but 2.6lbs is a 9100 calorie deficit for the week - either calories burned or not consumed. (3500calories = 1lb).

    WAY TO GO!!!

    way to go

If you stay on that track - which I know WW likes to see constant, steady weight loss - which is honestly the healthiest way to lose it and for long lasting results

  • It's totally normal. Some people even gain sometimes during their first few weeks, despite doing everything "right". You lost weight - that's awesome. WW recommends a loss of 0.5-2 lbs per week after the first 3 weeks.

  • I'm just 'restarting WW points plus) I think that's pretty normal with the new plan. Especially if you eat tons of fruit and veggies the first week to stop cravings, or if you use many of your weekly points allowance.

You did great just stick with it!!

  • Do u like points plus? I am just simply counting calories these days with myfitnesspal. *actually been about a week since tracked- oh well* I used to do momentum and liked it but it seemed like I hit major plateau. Good luck with ur weight loss.
