Me: whats the matter with you?

Her: mommy wont buy me anything for Christmas

Me: okay, well its not Christmas so that isnt a good excuse for acting the way you are so are you just tired or is there a reason you are so grumpy

Her: Poppop wont give me mac n cheese

Me: Honey, are you making mac n cheese?

Husband: Yes, she asked me too

Ever have one of those days they just make up reasons to be in a bad mood?

YEP! My 5 yr old can turn on a dime. I'll ask her if it's because she's tired or hungry & she'll just come up with some silly reason. Like: it's because we don't have any ice cream.

My sister's 10yo daughter gets mad and swears that none of us like her. Once, she told my sister that she liked the dog more then she like her so my sister reminded her that the dog slept in the back yard in a dog house and ate kibble from a metal bowl while she slept in the house, in a warm bed, with her own bedroom, and a Tinkerbell bedspread. But the dog doesn't have to do dishes so he's the favorite. Kids are just weird like that. They have to be convinced that life sucks no matter how good they have it.

Oh yes that's all day everyday .. They come crying I ask what's wrong then u gotta wait 10 min for them to think f something usually comes up with some idiotic reason like ohhh my cut ( frm 5 months ago) hurts :0/
